i’ve read this book before and originally it was a reference strictly for creating my own fashion label. but as i’m reading it again, i’m seeing that there are some interesting points that not only applies to business, but to everyday life and the choices we make.

“what’s your exit strategy?”… what is it with people who can’t even start building something without knowing how they’re going to leave it?“

it’s true! why do we do this to ourselves?! it’s like we set ourselves up for failure! whether it be in our aspirations, our relationships, or as simple as planning a get together. we plan for the worst and hope for the best, when we really should just live in the moment. sure we all want to protect ourselves from disappointment, but the more we expect the worse, the less we enjoy and the less we live.

note to oneself: focus on creating fulfillment and success in all aspects of life. you can choose to cross the bridge of disappointment IF you get to one.
