I went to the Philadelphia Museum recently and got a chance to see some of their current exhibitions on textiles and craft.

Often, many forget the importance of textile design to fashion design. What I found most interesting at this exhibit was its focus on craftsmanship and its life span from beginning to end. Here are just a few examples of work I had the opportunity to experience.
